BEING OVERWHELMED

I know you desperately want

to give in to your inner yearn

frantically attempt to fill in

the hole in your wrecked heart

the void in your corrupt soul

your insatiable quench that

make you forever never be content

but people said that you cannot give

what you didn't have in the first place

so like a coward, you just dodge it

ceaselessly evading the feeling

just so you won't get overwhelmed

still, it doesn't satisfy the thirst

even when you feast on the fiasco

of your ever be so called triumph

you, once again, wallow in the

ruin of your tomorrow

then, days become too much to bear

enough to spark the madness in you

so you will once again go round
